The IBMM International Committee has established an IBMM prize, which will be awarded for the second time at IBMM 2010 to an outstanding IBMM early-career researcher. The first prize was presented during IBMM 2008 in Dresden in honor of Ugo Campisano and Toni Drigo, and was awarded to Lin Shao from Texas A&M University. This second prize will be awarded in memory of Walt Gibson and Geoff Dearnaley.
Nominations including CV, list of publications, and optional recommendations should be sent by email to conference co-chair Sjoerd Roorda (subject: IBMM Prize nomination). Self-nominations are encouraged.
Please note the deadline of August 2nd, 2010.
Nominations will be evaluated by members of the IBMM International Committee and the conference chair. The winning candidate will be informed on August 9th.
Endowment
The winner of the IBMM Prize will receive a monetary amount and will be given the opportunity to deliver an Invited Lecture during the conference. Invited presentations include a waiver of the conference fee.
